NASSAU, BAHAMAS – This is 10 year old Cierea Knowles. The student of St. Cecilia’s school is doing her part to raise awareness surrounding breast cancer.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – This is 10 year old Cierea Knowles. The student of St. Cecilia’s school is doing her part to raise awareness surrounding breast cancer.
The sixth grader has spent time with the Cancer Society of The Bahamas, selling these pins and ornaments to raise funds. In fact, she say’s she’s raised a thousand dollars.
While it’s November now, Ciera believes Pinktober should be observed year-round.
On hand to receive the donation was President of the Cancer Society, Erin Storr. She says Cierra’s help proves that your’e never too young to make a difference.
