$15K Emergency Bail for Dad Accused of Incest
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 52-year-old accountant accused of molesting his four-year-old son has been granted emergency bail.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 52-year-old accountant accused of molesting his four-year-old son has been granted emergency bail.
Prosecutors allege that he performed sex acts on his child on October 11, 2023.
The New Providence resident was remanded to prison on Monday after he was formally charged with incest.
His name and address have been withheld to conceal the identity of his child.
The man’s applied for emergency bail in the Supreme Court, citing a medical condition.
As a condition of his $15,000 bail, the accused is prohibited from having any contact with his son and other prosecution witnesses.He’s also required to report to the Nassau Street Police Station on Mondays and Thursdays.
