$160 Million Road Project Underway in Eleuthera

ELEUTHERA, BAHAMAS – Residents of Central and South Eleuthera can finally bid farewell to bumpy roads and potholes as an ambitious project has commenced to pave over 160 miles of road.

ELEUTHERA, BAHAMAS – Residents of Central and South Eleuthera can finally bid farewell to bumpy roads and potholes as an ambitious project has commenced to pave over 160 miles of road.

The one hundred and sixty million dollar project carried out through a public private partnership. Area member of parliament, clay sweeting, says the project aims to not only improve the way life for residents but also pump money into the island’s economy.  

Sweeting, who also serves as minister for works and family island affairs says the work will go beyond just paving… He says it will also address  the island’s the long standing water disruption issues… 

The project is spearheaded by bahamas stripping group of companies, a subsidiary company of caribbean pavement solutions.. Along  with two local subcontractors…. Quickfix and nuview construction.
