NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Davis administration has spent $18 million on increments associated with completed labour agreements since taking office.

The new day government touted the record number of labor agreements completed since coming to office.

The news coming from State Public Service Minister Pia Glover-Rolle who was responding to questions from the official opposition in parliament today.

Glover-Rolle adding that the figure is in line with budgetary allocations.

The 2022/2023 budget made provisions for $20 million for labour agreements.

The state public service minister was also asked how the projected costs related to these labour agreements align with the reduction in public service staff-related costs as outlined in the 2021 fiscal strategy report.
