NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Team Bahamas for the 2024 iteration of the CARIFTA Aquatics Games, set to be held in New Providence beginning March 28 at the Betty Kelly Kenning Complex, has officially been named.
There are 24 girls on the team and 23 boys for a total of 47 swimmers.
The head coach of the team is Travano McPhee.

NCAA Basketball
The Ole Miss Rebels fell to the Louisiana State Tigers 75-67 Saturday night in the conference tournament in Greenville, South Carolina.
LSU managed to take an early lead, going up 31-21 with three minutes left in the first half, but ole miss got back in the game, bringing the game to within one to early in the 4th.
Madison Scott led the Rebels with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Marquesha Davis had 21, 5 and 5.
Tigers superstar foward Angel Reese had 21 points and 17 rebounds.
Coach Yo had no regrets.
Track and Field
Terrance Jones, the sprinter from Grand Bahama took home two gold medals at the NCAA Indoor National Track and field Championships in Boston on Saturday.
He won the 200m in a time of 20.23 seconds.
Jones also won the 60m in a time of 6.54 seconds
Another Bahamian, Wanya McCoy of the University of Florida came 7th in the 200m race, finishing in a time of 25.60 seconds
McCoy also came fourth in the 60m with a time of 6.60 seconds.
