NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of attempting to rape a teenager has been granted $20,000 bail.

Prosecutors say that thirty-nine-year-old Tristian Rolle tried to rape a 16-year-old relative on June 16 in New Providence.

Senior Justice Cheryl Grant-Thompson set strict terms for Rolle’s release.

As a condition of bail, Rolle has to wear an ankle bracelet, sign in daily at a police station and keep a curfew and surrender his travel.

He’s also banned from coming within 100 feet of the complainant and traveling without prior court approval.
