NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 21-year-old man accused of threatening to kill Prime Minister Philip Davis has been remanded to prison.

Isaac Roberts appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt on Monday to face a charge of threats of death.

Prosecutors allege that Roberts called the Central Police Station on February 18 and threatened the prime minister’s life. Roberts has denied the allegation.

Ferguson-Pratt remanded Roberts into custody until Thursday when she will hold a bail hearing.
