NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The world marking a grim milestone it surpassed one-million reported COVID-19 deaths. The World Health Organization making another appeal for countries to vaccinate all health care workers, older people and others at the highest risk.

There have been 823 covid-19 deaths in The Bahamas since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Monkeypox continues to be a concern for the W.H.O. as the majority of cases are now seen in the Americas, as opposed to Europe.
