Former Government Official and Two Others Deny Charges in 2024 Murder Case
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A former government official and two other men denied charges in relation to the August 2024 murder of Philip Adderley, whose body was found hog-tied with multiple stab wounds in waters near Stuart Cove.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A former government official and two other men denied charges in relation to the August 2024 murder of Philip Adderley, whose body was found hog-tied with multiple stab wounds in waters near Stuart Cove.
Prosecutors allege that Mario Bannister, the former manager director of the Clifton Heritage Site, Dontee Riley and Christian Napiier conspired to murder Adderley.
Riley and Napier are are accused of committing the murder on August 15, while Bannister is alleged to have served as an accessory after the fact.
The men, who are all on remand, denied the charges at their arraignment before Justice Guillimina Archer-Minns.
The matter has been assigned to Justice Dale Fitzpatrick for trial.
The matter was adjourned to April 4.
