Nine Member Jury Acquits 29-Year-Old of 2013 Manslaughter
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 29-year-old man has been cleared of a manslaughter charge, 12 years after he was accused of the crime.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 29-year-old man has been cleared of a manslaughter charge, 12 years after he was accused of the crime.
Prosecutors failed to prove that Jadre Evans was responsible for the November 28, 2013 shooting that claimed the life of 18-year-old Sylvester Woodside, who was shot in the head while at Jubilee Gardens.
Justice Guillimina Archer-Minns directed the nine member jury to acquit Evans of the charge after prosecutors failed to lead any evidence to link him to the crime.
