NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is facing a manslaughter charge after he allegedly killed a man who tried to break into his home.

Prosecutors say 34-year-old Kenneth Farrington, a painter, fatally beat 68-year-old Felix Morley with a paint stick following an attempted break-in at his East Bay Street home.

Farrington didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he appeared before Assistant Chief Magistrate Kara Turnquest-Deveaux.

Bail was denied and Farrington is back in court on March 30 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
