Bahamas equestrian youth riders, Kaitlyn Russell and Kelsey Pyfrom, turned in impressive performances at the Gran Copa Gobernadora in Puerto Rico.

Competing under coach Rai Burch, the pair recorded three top-10 finishes in a field of more than 80 riders from Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Suriname, and the United States.

Riding borrowed horses assigned by random draw, Russell teamed up with Indiana Faith for two seventh-place finishes.

Pyfrom, riding Scarlet, placed sixth on day two.

The final leg of the Grand Caraïbe Circuit will be hosted in Guadeloupe.
