Suspect Charged With Killing Man Outside Mekel Close Home

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors say they’ve found one of the men behind the murder of a man outside his home.

Murder accused Israel Albury is charged with the killing of Kenric Strachan, who was ambushed by two gunmen outside of his home on Mekel Close on March 28.

20-year-old Albury did not have to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before acting Chief Magistrate Ancella Evans.

Bail was denied and Albury returns to court on September 7 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
