NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 39-year-old immigration officer is facing charges after he was accused of shoplifting from a popular store.

Juan Gibson appeared before assistant chief magistrate Shaka Serville charged with stealing three sets of sheets and a can of lysol from Kelly’s Home Center on July 21.

Gibson denied placing the items into his shopping bag and leaving the store without paying.

Gibson’s bail was set at $1,000 and he returns to court in September.
