NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The who’s who of the entertainment world graced the red carpet at Fusion Superplex as they gathered for the Goombay Kids premiere. The show is set to take the world by storm with its third season.

Friends, family and supporters joined the cast and crew of the award-winning Goombay Kids learning adventure show as they gathered for the premiere of two special episodes – the precursors to season 4.

These episodes also signify the beginning of a new partnership with teams from the U.S. that will help to augment what the show’s creator Stephanie Nihon has built.

Lauren Oliver, a New York Times bestseller and producer, says the decision to partner with the Goombay Kids team was an easy one.

Executive Producer Rowena Poitier-Sutherland says fans can look forward to the islands’ beauty on full display. She says the reception from the US partners has been overwhelming.

Goombay Kids gives talented local writers like Marlena Leonard an outlet to express their creativity and influence the next generation of creatives.

We also caught up with some other faces you may know and love, Our News’ very own Kristina Dragovich, who says her kids are fans of the show.

Child Stars Javien Rankine, Ravyn White, Keara Jones and others were also in attendance and soaking up the good vibes, and minister of youth sports and culture mario bowleg offered kind words.

Stay tuned for these episodes and season four exclusively on channel 212.
