NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A dramatic arrest caught on camera showing what appears to be excessive behavior by the arresting officers. The now viral video sparking outrage in the community, and now the girlfriend of the “suspect” in that viral video is speaking out.

This viral video showing 40-year-old Ronald Telort, already on the ground, when an officer picks him up and slams him face-down onto the pavement.

A second officer is seen kicking him in the face before Telort was handcuffed.

Telort’s girlfriend of 12 years, Antointte Henfield, says she did not witness the incident but was immediately phoned and sent the disturbing video.

She says she is still trying to find out exactly what led up to the incident.

Telort is still in police custody and Henfield says she was unable to speak with him.

When asked about the type of person Telort is, she describes him as a nice and friendly, cool guy who didn’t deserve to be treated like he was.
