NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In honor of The Bahamas’ 50th Independence celebrations, the Our News team sought to take on a task that they have never done before, hosting a morning show.
Thus, “Our News This Morning” was brought to life by Executive Producer Jerome Sawyer and executed by the entire Our News team.
The big project brought on bigger responsibilities as reporters were tasked to curate a number of stories, in addition to the daily news, aimed at highlighting the many facets of Bahamian culture, whether it be Bahamian people who have contributed to the growth of our culture in some way or notable Bahamian events and practices.
The show, hosted from July 3-7 at the Margaritaville Resort in Downtown Nassau, aired live at 6:30 a.m on channel 212 and on the Our News Facebook page.
