“Shantytowns A Complex Issue”

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Works and Utilities Minister Alfred Sears double-downed on the committee’s efforts saying it has been partnering with local authorities on the plan forward on what he calls a “complex issue”.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Last month Works and Utilities Minister shared that the government’s plan to remove shantytowns would be costly and that a comprehensive plan would be revealed soon.

He also shared the formation of a committee put together to formally deal with the issue which has plagued New Providence and the Family Islands for some time now.

Today sears double-downed on the committee’s efforts saying it has been partnering with local authorities on the plan forward on what he calls a “complex issue”.
