NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Tourism, Investments and Aviation, Chester Cooper, says this initiative is dedicated to giving young people a head start on their entrepreneurial journey.

He says the goal is to change the mindset of Bahamians from employee to owner.

Over the next 14 weeks, the cohort will be tasked with developing business ideas focused on the tourism sector.

Cooper challenged the budding entrepreneurs to think big, be creative and take advantage of the growing tourism sector.

Executive Director of the Tourism Development Corporation, Ian Ferguson says generation impact will target high schoolers, equipping them with guidance and support to thrive.
