NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Independent investigators from the UK arrive next week, where the files from the highly controversial case will be handed to them. It’s the latest step in the investigation, following leaked voice notes with conversations allegedly between the head of CID Michael Johnson, an attorney, and two murder suspects, Michael Fox Jr. and Dino Smith, both of whom were gunned down.

National Security Minister Wayne Munroe explains what these UK investigators are here to do.

And it’s a possibility other resources will be provided.

These voice notes and the ensuing media frenzy continue to erode public trust in police.

Munroe sees this partnership as proof of their commitment to getting it right.

The minister had this comeback: “Clearly he knows what has been done.”
