NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Still no sign of an Abaco man who went missing last week while riding a jet ski.

His distraught family is pleading with the public to come forward with any information they may have. Giorgio Bain reports.

30 year old Rashard Cooper was reportedly riding jet skis with his friends near Dundas Town last week when his jet ski malfunctioned.

Friends say, they left Cooper and the jet ski tied to a cay to get help but when they retuned, he was gone.

Cooper’s niece Ashenique Lewis says Abaco residents initially helped with search efforts but they feel it wasn’t treated as a priority by police.

Police have released a missing persons report. However, there remains no sign of the jet ski rider.

Meanwhile, the family also questions the series of events that reportedly led to Cooper’s disappearance.

Worried relatives gathered around his mother, Eleanor Hepburn, who fought back tears as she made this plea.
