A Bishop To The Nation, A Loving Father To His Children
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – While the nation calls him bishop, pastor, and leader, Delton Fernander says there’s no title he wears prouder than father.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – While the nation calls him bishop, pastor, and leader, Delton Fernander says there’s no title he wears prouder than father.
The dad of two says he feels the most pride and joy through the success of his children.
One of Bishop Fernander’s proudest moments was watching his son graduate.
Not only does Fernander serve as pastor but also as President of the Bahamas Christian Council and most recently voted as President of the National Baptist Missionary and Educational Convention.
He says balancing time between his career and family can be difficult, however it’s never a tough choice.
As he looks forward to this Father’s Day, he shares how he would want his family to remember him for the day he’s no longer with them.
