NASSAU, BAHAMAS -We’re kicking off a brand new series, Deepening Baha Mar’s Bahamian Roots, where we’ll show you why Baha Mar is much more than just a luxury resort, it’s a driving force in the Bahamian economy. So, where do we start? With the kids, of course! Italia Hall takes us inside the Baha Mar Explorers Kids Club, a fun-filled world designed just for them. Let’s check out the main cabin to see what they have to offer.

“We have Nintendo Switches here, and the kids love to play Mario Kart.”

Since 2018, the Kids Club has been a go-to spot for children ages 3 to 12, offering everything from crafts and games to dress-up and dance-offs. Activities Manager, Taneisha Brown, says they keep the little ones fully entertained.

“It all depends on the day and time. We take them to mini golf, basketball, the sanctuary, the water park, and even tennis.”

And yes, it’s a full drop-off service for both hotel guests and locals. Parents, you can relax, they’re open from 9 AM to 10:30 PM.

“We cater to all your errands, and if you want a date night out, this is the place where you can drop them off.”

There are also lunch and dinner options, and the daily programs change with the seasons.

“We have holiday-themed programs during festive times. Right now, we have a summer spectacular program where the kids make popsicles and design sun visor hats.”

And don’t worry, teens, they didn’t forget you! There’s a basketball court too.

“One hand, oh, ok, no, I failed. I’m sorry, sports were never my thing in school. This is why I’m in this field! And look, you’ve got games like ‘Bob It,’ all our childhood favorites.”

Get this: there’s even a mini movie theater with popcorn, candy, and all the treats. Every night ends with a movie screening at 8:30 PM.
