NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Meet 16-year-old Dremecio Culmer. He’s a recent graduate of C.V. Bethel Senior High School who managed to secure over $400,000 in scholarships for his future.

But his journey wasn’t always easy.

Let’s start from the beginning of his last year at C.V. Bethel, when Culmer says things got rough.

And from there, the college scholarship hunt began.

Culmer, along with his mom, settled on Ozark University in Arkansas where he will study computer science.

He had this advice for young men who wish to stay out of trouble and how they too can apply for scholarships.
