Abaco MP: No Oil Spilled In Abaconian Waters
ABACO, BAHAMAS – There was no oil nor fuel spilled from the MV Onego Traveller which sank in Abaco last week, according to Central and South Abaco, MP John Pinder.
ABACO, BAHAMAS – There was no oil nor fuel spilled from the MV Onego Traveller which sank in Abaco last week, according to Central and South Abaco, MP John Pinder.
Pinder says what can be seen in the water is ferrix, a corrosive substance used for sewerage treatment. However, the fuel tanks on the vessel were capped off to prevent an oil spill.
