Absence by Works’ PS “Wrong”, Says Opposition Leader

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Opposition Leader Michael Pintard is expressing concerns over the Ministry of Works’ Permanent Secretary Luther Smith’s, no show at Tuesday’s Public Accounts Committee Meeting.

Pintard, who serves as chairman, said he’s been informed that Smith’s absence was on instructions from Attorney General Ryan Pinder.

And on Wednesday, he is calling the AG’s actions “absolutely wrong.”
