NASSAU, BAHAMAS – In Nassau, business deals have often been made in unusual places—like upstairs at Wendy’s or local coffee shops.

But one Bahamian entrepreneur, Levin Wilson, saw a gap in the market waiting to be filled. “I remember years ago, I keep telling the story. I remember when we used to meet at Wendy’s, right? Downtown upstairs. Right. And then we started to meet at Starbucks. Yes. Remember that man we used to have the biggest corporate meetings in Wendy’s, right? And then Starbucks. Exactly, right!” Wilson said.

Now, Wilson runs Access Accelerator, a 25,000-square-foot business hub at One West Plaza with the amenities to make coffee shop meetings a thing of the past. “We have about sixty-five, uh, ten by ten suites. Those are the dedicated suites. You also have about four private suites that are a lot bigger. There’s for more corporate clients who may need to work with a bigger team,” Wilson shared.

From smaller private suites to large boardrooms, a café, and event space, every square foot is designed to serve professionals of all kinds. “We have IHOP, their corporate headquarters is here. We have the Ministry of Health. One of their departments works out of here. We have a diverse mix of real estate companies… We have a few lawyers that work here. We have an accountant. We also have an insurance agency,” Wilson explained.

The demand has been overwhelming. “We are at one hundred percent capacity… Our ramp-up period we expected to hit that occupancy at two years. We were able to do that in the first year,” Wilson said. This rapid growth signals a budding economy with thriving entrepreneurs eager to tap into it. With a growing waiting list, Wilson adds, “Expansion isn’t a matter of if, but when.”
