NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Advocate and president of RISE Bahamas, Terneille Burrows, announcing her independent candidacy for the next general election.

She’s contesting the Elizabeth constituency seat.

Burrows ran in 2017 and says she believes that the hearts and minds of Bahamians are now ready to join with advocates and activists.

She says her present demand to the government is increased penalties for those that commit crimes against children.
