NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Attorney General Ryan Pinder announced significant reforms to the country’s registries at The Bar Association’s training days opening ceremony on Thursday.

The changes, he says, focus on four key areas, starting with the Registrar General’s office.

That program, expected to be launched on June 21st. Then there’s the digitalization of the Civil Registry.

But thats not all, the AG says two new bills are set to be released for consultation.

The plan the attorney general says is to also split the Registrar General into a Registrar of Companies and a Registrar of Records, something they hope to pass before parliament takes its summer recess.
