NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Chief ALIV Officer John Gomez set to get a major honor from the Kingdor National Parkinson Foundation.

Kingdor National Parkinson Foundation President Mavis Darling-Hill describes why they decided to honor Gomez.

Gomez will be receiving the prestigious award at the foundation’s annual ball this month.

He says the call to tell him he was being honored took him by surprise.

Gomez has been involved with the foundation for over a decade.

Although Gomez doesn’t have any close family effected by Parkinsons, he says raising awareness is a major part in helping.

Now, the ALIV CEO wants to help motivate others to find a cause that matters to them and find a way to give back, even if it’s just with their time.
