NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An American housewife accused of plotting the murder of her estranged husband with her lover and his friend have been committed to stand trial in the Supreme Court.

Lindsay Shiver, her alleged lover Terrance Bethel, and Faron Newbold Jr will be arraigned on the murder conspiracy charge on December 8.

Prosecutors allege that the trio planned the murder of Robert Shiver on July 16.

The alleged murder plot was uncovered while police were investigating a break-in at Grabbers Bar and Grill in Guana Cay, Abaco.

Bethel, who worked as a bartender at the bar, was arrested in relation to the break-in and theft.

While in custody, police allegedly found a series of text messages between the accused concerning the alleged murder plot.
