American Tourist Arrested for Groping Woman in Cruise Ship Bathroom

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An American tourist was arrested after he groped a woman in a cruise ship bathroom while he masturbated.

Forty-six-year-old Corey Smith pleaded guilty to charges of indecent assault and indecent exposure  when he made his first court appearance before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.

The charges stem from a June 13 incident aboard the Carnival Freedom.

The 21-year-old woman was in the women’s bathroom around 4am when Smith entered.

As the woman stood at the sink, Smith came from behind and touched her genitals and started pleasuring himself with his free hand.

Smith apologized for his actions and said that he was under the influence of alcohol.

He was ordered to pay a $5,000 fine to avoid spending eight months for the indecent assault. He was fined $150 to avoid the alternative of one month in prison for indecent exposure.
