NASSAU, BAHAMAS – AML Foods Limited celebrating Supermarket Employee Day with a pay raise for hundreds of associates.

AML has increased its employee’s minimum wage by $20 and has promised another $20 increase by May 2023.

Kimberly Bodie, AML’s Vice President of Human Resources, says though it was rough, employees at the parent company of Solomon’s, Fresh Market, Cost Right Wholesale Club, and Exuma markets rendered services through the pandemic.

The announcement comes as the Davis administration has vowed to increase the minimum wage.

The large retailer has 850 employees across New Providence, Freeport, and Exuma.
