NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Organisation for Responsible Governance Executive Director Matt Aubry says moving forward anti-corruption laws need to be priority items.

He says too often these bills are placed on the back burner.

The former Minnis administration campaigned on bringing anti-corruption laws, but it didn’t happen before they left office.

In its blueprint for change, the Davis administration pledged to also bring anti-corruption legislation within its first 100 days in office, but that too hasn’t happened.

The Organisation for Responsible Governance held a symposium on Friday speaking to the issue.
