Antigua: Missing 9-year-Old Girl Found Murdered

ANTIGUA – Antigua is in anguish after a missing 9-year-old girl was found murdered over the weekend.

A 20-year-old woman is the prime suspect in the slaying of Chantel Crump.

ABS Antigua reported that police formally charged Angela Mejia with murder less than 24 hours after Crump was found dead in bushes early Saturday morning.

Mejia allegedly led the authorities to the location where the girl’s body was found.

Media reports indicate that the nine-year-old was allegedly abducted by Mejia in a Honda car on Wednesday afternoon while she was on her way home from school.
