WORLDWIDE – Apple’s IOS 18 update arrived Monday, adding AI features to iPhone 16 and recent iPad and mac models in the U.S., with global rollout expected next year.

The iPhone maker says the update enhances Siri, introduces writing aids, photo editing, and content summarization, and allows some airpods to function as hearing aids.

These updates have reportedly fueled demand for new iPhones, pushing apple’s market value up by $500 billion.
