Armed Robber Gets Three-Year Sentence

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man was sentenced to three years in prison for his role in an armed robbery two years ago.

Wilson Ford pleaded guilty to the to the March 23, 2021 armed robbery of Jet Wash on Bernard Road as part of a plea deal.

On the day in question, Ford and another man robbed an employee of the laundromat of $300 while armed with a handgun.

Ford has to pay $300 in restitution within one year of his release from prison.

Additionally, he will be placed on two years’ probation. If he’s convicted of another crime during this period, Ford will have to spend another year in prison.
