NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Dozens of young men had the chance to engage with leaders from Baha Mar Resort during the resort’s signature event, Food for Thought.

Hosted in recognition of Men’s Month, executives say the seminar focuses on building a community of male leaders. While the mission remained the same, organizers introduced new elements this year to elevate the experience.

The event welcomed men and boys from several schools to the Rosewood Ballroom, where they were greeted with goodie bags, food and an energetic atmosphere.

Director of Talent Development at Baha Mar, Jamaro Thompson, says this year’s format was intentionally different, shifting away from traditional speakers and panels in favor of a more interactive approach.

The major twist was the seating arrangement. Participants were assigned to tables with people they did not know, encouraging networking and new connections.

Thompson says Food for Thought is just one of several initiatives planned for Men’s Month, all designed to help young men build supportive relationships and find peers they can lean on for guidance and growth.
