NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Football Association (BFA) proudly announces the women’s national soccer team’s participation in their final match of the Concacaf Road to W. Gold Cup series.

This pivotal game against the U.S. Virgin Islands, set to unfold at the Roscow A.L. Davies Field, marks a significant milestone for both the team and the country.

The match is scheduled for November 29th, 2023, at 3 pm and is free for all to attend.

Due to ongoing renovations at the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium, the match will be held at the more intimate Roscow A.L. Davies Field. This venue shift presents a unique opportunity for fans, students, and the BFA community to rally behind the team, filling the stands to be the ’12th woman’ the team needs.

Following today’s press conference, we are excited to share the details of the upcoming match. The press conference, held at the Beach Soccer Stadium’s Junkanoo VVIP Room, featured insights from Head Coach Ricqea Bain, Deputy General Secretary Carl Lynch, Director of Sports Kelsie Johnson Sills, and key players Rachel Rolle and Diane Maillis.

The full team roster features a dynamic mix of experienced and emerging talent. The Bahamas team will be practicing at the Roscow A.L. Davies Field starting at 3 PM, followed by the U.S. Virgin Islands team’s practice session at 4:30 PM at the same venue. These sessions are crucial for final preparations and strategy fine-tuning ahead of the eagerly anticipated match.
