However, while waiting in line he was informed by a Bahamasair agent that his flight had been canceled.

Arnett was placed on standby for Thursday. Bahamasair has said that they are operating rescue flights in and out of Ft. Lauderdale however, there were continued reports of cancellations and delays by the airline.

Arnett adds that disappointed travelers could be heard calling Bahamasair’s reservations line, seeking clarification and compensation for the inconvenience caused.
