NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A Supreme Court jury took 15 minutes to acquit a Bahamian businessman of sexually assaulting an American tourist at the Baha Mar resort.

Prosecutors allege Henry Richard Nixon sexually assaulted a 15-year-old American on April 4th 2021.

61-year old Nixon denied the charge before Justice Renae McKay and do not have to take the witness stand.

The businessman’s lawyer Keevon Maynard describes the teen’s family as con artists and claims. They made up the rape claim because they were suing the resort for $10 million.
