NASSAU, BAHAMAS – If you’re flipping through the pages of House and Garden, or Tatler magazine this spring, you may come across a familiar name in Bahamian ceramics.

Bahamian ceramicist Jessica Colebrooke has been honing her craft for over thirty years, but earlier this year, opportunity knocked in an unexpected way.

But they were very interested, and Colebrook is now being featured in issues of House and Garden magazine this spring.

The ceramicist tells us none of it would have been possible without Bahamian photographer, Jim LaRoda, who took the gorgeous photos now being seen in magazine copies around the world.

And it doesn’t stop there, Colebrooke’s pieces will also be featured in a highly anticipated issue of Tatler magazine this spring.

But she says it goes beyond the validation of  international recognition.

She hopes her donation of art will inspire others to donate whatever their gift may be to the charity of their choice.
