Bahamian Promoted to First Officer on RCI Oasis Class Ship

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – 24-year-old Bahamian Drenaud Moncur says it was in 2021 that he became a second officer onboard the Adventure of the Seas and recently, he was promoted as first officer.

Moncur is only the third Bahamian to hold the high ranking post on an RCI ship.

His current routes includes the Eastern and Western Caribbean.

He says he’s had a lot support from his family and RCI, adding that his end goal is to become a captain.
