Bail Denied for Man Accused of June 26 Rape
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Prosecutors allege that Cenopha Augustin, of Comfort Street, raped a 20-year-old woman on June 26.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 20-year-old man is behind bars on a rape charge.
Prosecutors allege that Cenopha Augustin, of Comfort Street, raped a 20-year-old woman on June 26.
Augustin didn’t have to enter a plea to the charge when he stood before Assistant Chief Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans.
Bail was denied. Augustin returns to court on September 30 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
