NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man accused of holding up an acquaintance is behind bars.

Prosecutors allege that 32-year-old Antonio Glinton told Samuel Pennerman that one of his friends wanted to buy his Yamaha XTZ bike.

Glinton allegedly accompanied Pennerman to Windsor Lane on September 12 to make the sale.

But when they got there, Glinton and the other man allegedly robbed  Pennnerman of his bike, an iphone 14 and $300 cash at gunpoint and beat him in the head with the gun.

Glinton faced charges of armed robbery and causing harm with aggravation when he stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied and the matter was adjourned to December 4 for the presentation of a voluntary bill of indictment.
