NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A judge has denied the bail application of a man accused of a shooting that left his alleged victim paralyzed.

Shaquon Dean faces charges of attempted murder and the alternative charge of possession of a firearm with intent ti endanger life in relation to a July 26, 2023 shooting in Pinewood Gardens.

Prosecutors say that Dean shot Ricardo Bullard in the front of his home on Cottonwood Street. Bullard is paralyzed as a result of the incident.

Justice Gregory Hilton refused Dean’s bail application.
