Bay Street Comes Alive For Goombay Summer Festival
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bay Street experienced a burst of energy last Friday as families gathered for the annual Goombay Summer Festival.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Goombay Summer Festival has become a summer staple for thousands of families.
On Bay Street Friday evening, bright lights and fiery stage performances drew the crowd in, but the street entertainment often stole the spotlight, adding an unforgettable touch to the experience.
Attendees would experience stilt walkers to a lively mime that left them speechless with his moves.
Then, of course, no festival is complete without food and drinks.
The Lemonade Lab kept festival goers cool with freshly squeezed lemonade. Co-founder Brittney Palacious even invited us behind the counter to try my hand at making a cup.
