BIMINI, BAHAMAS – Vincent A. Ellis, who is also a leader on the Bimini Golf Cart Association, says as an MP, Wilchcombe was a champion for the concerns of his people.
He offers one instance in particular where the Golf Cart Association came head to head with a development on the island, and Wilchcombe stepped in for his constituents.
Many people touched on the impact Wilchcombe had as Bimini’s member of parliament, and when we asked former Chief Councillor Robbie Smith, there was no shortage of examples.
Ellis echoes the sentiment shared by many that Wilchcombe was unfazed by party affiliations when it came to helping others.
