BIS Employee Accused of Choking Coworker During Staff Party

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Forty-two- year-old Sterling Fox, an employee at Bahamas Information Services, is now on a $1,000 bail as he awaits trial for allegedly choking a female coworker during a staff party late last month.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Forty-two- year-old Sterling Fox, an employee at Bahamas Information Services, is now on a $1,000 bail as he awaits trial for allegedly choking a female coworker during a staff party late last month.

Fox allegedly attacked Perinique Bethel during the work event on Fifth Terrace, grabbing her by the neck and choking her in a physical altercation. She was reportedly left with throat injuries.

Fox was charged with causing harm when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Anishka Isaacs. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail and is expected to return to court on November 13.
