NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bishop Denczil Rolle wears many hats, the senior pastor is a gospel artist, husband, father, brother and entrepreneur.

The list doesn’t end there, he’s also the general superintendent of the Highway Church of God.

He’s been pastoring life worship center for 14-years-old. He says the demographic consists mostly of people 50 and under with very few members over 60.

We asked him if it’s sometimes challenging to bridge the gap between older and younger congregants.

Over the years, the church suffered heavy criticism over its failure to evolve in some instances or the lack thereof.

On the other hand, many churches globally have been accused of being too progressive and straying away from godly principles.

On a more personal note, Rolle is an engineer by profession, and in addition to being a full-time pastor.

With so much on his plate, Rolle says the trick to finding the right balance is to always keep God at the center.

He had this to say to new pastors trying to find their way forward.
